About

Elders Home Plus is the second Melaka premises run by the operator behind Elders Home Care Centre in Klebang Besar, and it is a genuinely separate building rather than a second name for the same one - the operator confirmed that in writing on 9 September 2026. It sits on Jalan PB 1B in Taman Puncak Bertam, on the inland side of Melaka, about twenty minutes from the Klebang Besar home.

If you have been given a quote by “Elders Home” it is worth checking which of the two it was for. The rates differ, and the two homes offer different room formats.

Care & services

Trained staff nurses and healthcare assistants are on duty around the clock. What sets the package apart at this price is what is bundled into it rather than charged on top: a doctor visits once a week for check-ups and health monitoring, and every resident gets one-to-one physiotherapy three times a week rather than a group session. Medication management, three main meals and two teas a day, and help with bathing, dressing and mobility are all included in the room rate.

Transport is the one thing charged separately.

Rooms and cost

Three room formats, all inclusive of the services above and all plus 8% SST:

  • 3, 4 or 5-bedded room - RM3,000 to RM3,500
  • Twin sharing - RM3,500 to RM3,800
  • Single-bed room - RM4,200 to RM4,500

These figures come from the operator’s own brochure and are published here with their permission, which is worth saying plainly: most Melaka homes will not put a number in writing before you visit.

What families should know

The weekly doctor visit and thrice-weekly one-to-one physiotherapy are the two things to press on when you enquire, because they are the parts of the package that are easiest to quietly scale back and the hardest for a family to audit from outside. Ask who the visiting doctor is, and ask whether the physiotherapy is delivered by a qualified physiotherapist or by care staff following a programme.

The operator also runs Elders Home Care Centre in Klebang Besar, which offers a single 3-bedded package at RM3,000 to RM3,500 + 8% SST. If cost is the binding constraint, compare the two before deciding - they are run by the same people but they are not interchangeable.

Elsewhere

The home runs its own Facebook page as Elders Home Plus Care Centre Sdn Bhd (facebook.com), separate from the Klebang Besar home’s page, with its own email address and a steady stream of activity videos. The registered entity name is worth noting if you are checking company records: the two premises are not filed under one name.

A note on the address. The operator’s September 2026 brochure gives the postcode as 75260, their own Facebook page gives 75250, and the JKM register carries 75250 for the neighbouring home on the same street. We print 75250 as the better-evidenced of the two and have asked the operator to confirm. If you are posting something, confirm it with them first.

Location

Taman Puncak Bertam sits inland from central Melaka, in the Bukit Beruang direction, close to Melaka International Airport and a short drive from Mahkota Medical Centre and Melaka General Hospital. It is a quieter residential setting than the coastal Klebang side.

How we determined this licensing status

The operator states in writing (9 September 2026) that both Elders Home Plus and Elders Home Care Centre are registered with JKM. No certificate number has been supplied for this premises and it does not appear in our JKM register snapshot, which predates it; the sister home at Klebang Besar carries cert M/PJB WT 001/2022. Ask for the certificate number on enquiry.

Licensing status can change — licences expire, transfer to new operators, or get renewed under a different legal entity. We cross-reference public sources to be as accurate as possible, but always ask to see the physical certificate during your tour. For JKM, ask for the Perakuan Pendaftaran Pusat Jagaan. For MOH, ask for the CKAPS approval letter.

Operators: email your certificate to hello@seniorlivingmalaysia.org and we will upgrade this listing to a Verified ✓ badge showing the certificate date. While you're at it — one line on cultural fit (halal kitchen, surau, Mandarin-speaking staff, dietary accommodations) helps the families who specifically search for that.
