The Balik Pulau location is away from George Town - a quieter, more scenic part of the island, about 30-40 minutes from the city centre and around 20 minutes from the Second Penang Bridge. Suits families prioritising tranquility and purpose-built infrastructure over central-city convenience. Pricing is quoted on enquiry.

How we determined this licensing status
NOT YET OPERATING. Operator-corrected 7 Aug 2026 (Serena Cheah, Sales & Marketing Manager): active-living apartments complete Q2-Q3 2027, then fit-out, so MOVE-IN is approx DEC 2027 or MARCH 2028 - she asked us to disregard the earlier Nov 2026 / Mar 2027 dates, which were a mix-up. Licensing is therefore PROSPECTIVE, not current: the dual MOH and JKM positioning comes from the operator website for a facility that has not opened, and no registration numbers are published. Do not present this as a licensed operating home. Units are SALE ONLY pre-opening, but the operator confirms RENTAL WILL BE AVAILABLE ONCE OPEN. Whether a resident can move from independent living into assisted or nursing care on site is still unconfirmed - referred to Eden-on-the-Park (Simon / Lai Peng), unanswered as of 8 Aug 2026. Foreign buyers require MM2H unless they hold a MyKad.
Licensing status can change — licences expire, transfer to new operators, or get renewed under a different legal entity. We cross-reference public sources to be as accurate as possible, but always ask to see the physical certificate during your tour. For JKM, ask for the Perakuan Pendaftaran Pusat Jagaan. For MOH, ask for the CKAPS approval letter.
