Eden on the Park is Malaysia’s first integrated active senior living resort built and operated to Australian aged-care standards. The development sits on the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway in Sarawak and combines two distinct offerings: an active retirement living resort for independent seniors, and a 71-bed nursing care residence with full clinical capability. Won the Consumers Choice Award 2024-25.

Care & services

Three care tracks under one roof: active retirement living for independent residents, assisted living with structured care, and full nursing care including dementia/memory support, post-stroke rehabilitation, palliative care, and tube feeding. The Australian-standard build means physical infrastructure (corridor widths, nurse-call systems, dedicated rehab spaces) is well above the typical Malaysian benchmark.

What families should know

This is the most prestigious senior living option in East Malaysia - if a family is shortlisting between KL/PJ premium options and a quieter Sarawak base, Eden is the obvious East Malaysia anchor. Pricing is premium and structured as a leasehold + care package model (not month-to-month), so the financial commitment is substantial. Best fit for families with strong East Malaysia ties or those drawn to the slower pace and lower cost of living in Sarawak.
