About
Care Collective Kuching is Care Concierge’s first residence in East Malaysia, open since July 2026 and already taking residents. Operated by Care Concierge as a venture with Elica Equity, it occupies Level 3 of Wisma Elica in the airport corridor south of the city, and describes itself as Sarawak’s premium age-friendly retirement community.
The 90 suites span independent-living Retirement Suites and Assisted Living in the same building, which is the point of the place: a resident who needs more help later adds care where they already live instead of moving somewhere new. That is unusual in Sarawak, where most options are nursing homes, charitable day centres, or welfare homes.
Care & services
Three products under one roof. Retirement Suites are independent living for active retirees, with housekeeping and upkeep handled and care packages available on demand. Assisted Living covers everything from light daily help to round-the-clock care, including short-term post-operative and post-hospitalisation recovery as well as permanent stays. The Clubhouse is a weekday day programme - mahjong, arts and crafts, outings and a shared lunch - for retirees who live elsewhere.
Shared amenities run to more than 18,000 sq ft: a games room, pool lounge, sing-and-chill room, hair and beauty parlour, sensory room, resting pods, and a landscaped walkway. Clinical support includes 24/7 emergency response, medication and vital-signs management, physiotherapy, medical and TCM consultations, and medical escort to hospital or clinic appointments.
What families should know
Pricing is published and it is premium. Retirement Suites start from RM 7,000/month, Assisted Living from RM 8,500/month, and the Clubhouse day programme from RM 2,500/month (operator factsheet, July 2026). All three are “starts from” figures, so ask for a written quote against your actual needs - and if two people are moving in together, confirm explicitly whether the rate is per suite or per person, because it changes the total completely.
The building is shared with the 5-star voco Kuching hotel, which makes it unusually easy for visiting family to stay on site, or for a prospective resident to spend a night nearby before committing.
