Fees
My Joyful Home sent us this rate card directly on 23 August 2026.
| Room | Per month |
|---|---|
| Four-bedded | RM3,600 |
| Three-bedded | RM3,900 |
| Two-bedded | RM4,500 |
| Single | RM5,300 |
Tracheostomy or tube-feeding residents add RM1,000 a month on top of the room rate. So a tube-fed resident in a four-bedded room is RM4,600 a month before consumables.
What the monthly fee includes
Five meals a day (breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, and supper if wanted); 24-hour care; a call-bell system; laundry; physical exercise; daily vital signs; a doctor visit once a week for residents who need medical attention, with additional visits charged; games and activities; positioning and dressing; and help with oral feeding.
What the family buys separately
This list is longer than most and worth reading before comparing prices: diapers, wet wipes, rubber gloves, underpads, milk, suction catheters, Ryles tubes, shampoo, body wash, towels, clothes and a ripple mattress, plus all dressing items.
A tube-fed resident provides their own milk, Ryles tube and feeding equipment (measuring cups, syringes). A tracheostomy resident buys their own disposable silicone suction catheters.
Compare this against homes that quote an all-in figure. The room rate here is competitive; the consumables are not included, and for a tube-fed or tracheostomy resident they are a real monthly cost on top.

How we determined this licensing status
JKM-licensed. AgeCOPE member - confirmed via agecope.org.my/membership-directory/ (national member directory). AgeCOPE membership requires a valid JKM or MOH licence as a condition of entry.
Licensing status can change — licences expire, transfer to new operators, or get renewed under a different legal entity. We cross-reference public sources to be as accurate as possible, but always ask to see the physical certificate during your tour. For JKM, ask for the Perakuan Pendaftaran Pusat Jagaan. For MOH, ask for the CKAPS approval letter.
Operators: email your certificate to hello@seniorlivingmalaysia.org and we will upgrade this listing to a Verified ✓ badge showing the certificate date. While you're at it — one line on cultural fit (halal kitchen, surau, Mandarin-speaking staff, dietary accommodations) helps the families who specifically search for that.
