About

Woodrose Senior Residences is a Shah Alam-based nursing home group formed from the merger of Zara Aisyah Care Centre (ZACC) and MLL Sdn Bhd. The group operates multiple branches in Seksyen 11 Shah Alam, positioning itself explicitly as a Shariah-compliant care environment - one of the very few operators in the Klang Valley to do so.

Care & services

24-hour nursing care, memory and dementia care, palliative care, day care, respite stays, and physiotherapy. The Shariah-compliant environment includes halal meals, prayer facilities, and care practices aligned with Islamic values - meaningful for Malay Muslim families who want their parent in a familiar cultural setting.

What families should know

Woodrose is the main operator serving Muslim-majority families in Shah Alam who prefer a faith-aligned environment. The multiple Seksyen 11 branches give the group enough capacity to place residents even when one branch is full. Pricing on enquiry.

Location

Seksyen 11, Shah Alam - well-connected to the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Subang, and Klang. Hospital Shah Alam and Columbia Asia Hospital Klang are within 20 minutes.

How we determined this licensing status

JKM registration status inferred from AgeCOPE membership. Woodrose was formed from a merger of Zara Aisyah Care Centre (ZACC) and MLL Sdn Bhd; ZACC is listed as an AgeCOPE member (agecope.org.my/project/zacc/), confirming JKM registration. Registration number not publicly listed.

Licensing status can change — licences expire, transfer to new operators, or get renewed under a different legal entity. We cross-reference public sources to be as accurate as possible, but always ask to see the physical certificate during your tour. For JKM, ask for the Perakuan Pendaftaran Pusat Jagaan. For MOH, ask for the CKAPS approval letter.

Operators: email your certificate to hello@seniorlivingmalaysia.org and we will upgrade this listing to a Verified ✓ badge showing the certificate date. While you're at it — one line on cultural fit (halal kitchen, surau, Mandarin-speaking staff, dietary accommodations) helps the families who specifically search for that.
