About

EHA Sunview is the Kempas branch — Taman Anggerik, sitting inside what has become Johor Bahru’s densest single-area cluster of established nursing operators. Spring Valley Homecare, Green Acres Kempas, and several other JB-area operators all run within minutes of each other in this part of inner-east JB. For families building a tour shortlist, the Kempas concentration is unusually efficient: you can visit three or four serious operators in a single morning’s drive without leaving a 5-kilometre radius. Sunview is the EHA option inside that cluster.

Care & services

The standard EHA service stack: 24/7 healthcare staffing across nursing care, assisted living, dementia care, daycare, and respite stays. Bilingual English/Mandarin care communication. On-site dietary accommodation. Operational consistency with the multi-branch group means staff training and case management follow network-standard procedures.

Pricing

Published group rates:

  • Assisted senior living: RM 3,200/month
  • Daycare: RM 1,500/month
  • Respite care: RM 120/day

Nursing-level and dementia-care pricing on enquiry. Always request the written all-in fee schedule.

What families should know

The case for Sunview is its position inside the Kempas cluster. For SG families and Malaysian-Chinese families building a shortlist of JB homes, the ability to compare directly against Spring Valley (the largest purpose-built operator in the area) and Green Acres (a longer-established peer) is genuinely useful. Most JB neighbourhoods don’t offer this kind of side-by-side comparability — Tampoi has clusters but mostly older properties; Permas Jaya is more spread out; Iskandar Puteri/Medini is mostly newer single-property developments.

The trade-off relative to Sunview’s siblings: Kempas is mid-distance from both the Causeway (15-20 minutes) and the Second Link (35-45 minutes). It works for both gateways but isn’t optimal for either. For families with a strong gateway preference, Parkview (Second Link) or Golfview (Causeway) are slightly better matched.

Location

9, Jalan Anggerik 5/1, Taman Anggerik, 81200 Johor Bahru — inner-east JB, part of the Kempas residential cluster that has emerged as JB’s main concentration of senior care operators. From the Causeway, 15-20 minutes outside peak hours; from the Second Link, 35-45 minutes. KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital is 20-25 minutes; Hospital Sultan Ismail (public) is 15 minutes. The neighbourhood is mature residential, with a mix of terrace housing and small commercial pockets — character somewhere between a city outskirt and an established suburb.

Network

EHA also operates Golfview (Taman Johor Jaya), Parkview (Perling), Lakeview (Permas Jaya), and EHA Kluang in Johor, plus Grandview Jalan Ipoh (KL) and three Selangor branches.
