Rejang Nursing Care Centre is the residential nursing arm of the Rejang Healthcare group in Sibu. The facility sits on Jalan Dr. Wong Soon Kai (also known as Jalan Pedada), directly opposite Rejang Medical Centre - one of central Sarawak’s main private hospitals. The hospital-adjacent positioning is unusual in Sarawak and unique in our directory: residents have effectively immediate access to acute medical care without leaving the campus.

The operator describes the centre as “a place for people who don’t need to be in a hospital but can’t be cared for at home” - the bridging role between acute hospital and home. The Rejang Healthcare group also operates general practice, surgical specialist, and eye specialist clinics on the same campus.

What families should know

For families with parents who have ongoing acute medical needs (post-surgery recovery, chronic conditions requiring frequent specialist visits, dementia residents prone to fall-related fractures), the cross-the-road access to Rejang Medical Centre is the headline feature. Sibu is approximately 30 minutes from Sibu Airport, with regular MASwings flights from Kuching, Miri, and Bintulu.
