About

Mintygreen Empire Klang is the Klang district anchor of the Mintygreen Healthcare chain, operating from the Galeri Empire commercial development off Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim. The Mintygreen group has operated since 2017 and now spans 7+ branches across the Klang Valley (Sungai Long Kajang HQ, USJ 21 Subang, Sphere Damansara Kepong, Taman Connaught Cheras, this Klang branch) plus two Penang branches (Golden Triangle 2 + Imperial Grande, both in our directory).

Care & services

24-hour nursing care delivered by trained caregivers with on-site doctor visits, physiotherapy, and psychology services as part of the chain’s standard package. The Klang branch’s Person-in-Charge is Ms Fairuz; chain-wide 24/7 customer service hotline is +60 11-5587 9788.

What families should know

For Klang district families - or KL families wanting geographic flexibility within the Klang Valley - this branch extends Mintygreen’s coverage to the western Klang Valley. The chain’s relative size (7+ branches) means consistent operational standards across locations and easier family logistics if circumstances change. Sister branches in Penang give cross-state continuity for SG families with relatives in both Klang Valley and Penang.

Location

26 Galeri Empire, Jalan Empayar, off Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim, 41150 Klang - established Klang commercial / residential corridor, well-served by Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah and KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital. Approximately 30-40 minutes from KLCC via Federal Highway / Kesas.

Halal food and prayer space - the operator says no

Mintygreen confirmed to Senior Living Malaysia in writing on 14 August 2026:

“Currently our centers do not serve halal kitchen and prayer area. However, we might plan to develop a halal-based center in the future.”

This applies to every Mintygreen branch, not only this one. Muslim families who need halal catering or a prayer area should look elsewhere for now. We record it because the operator told us plainly and unprompted, which is more than most chains do, and because it saves Muslim families an enquiry that cannot end well.

Short stays

The operator confirmed on the same date that all branches provide short-term rehabilitation stays, but that pricing differs between centres. We hold no Mintygreen rate for any branch.

Please check before travelling

When we asked Mintygreen on 14 August 2026 which branches are operating today, they listed Sungai Long (Kajang), Bangsar, Prima Damansara (Kepong), Cheras (near Taman Connaught), Subang Jaya USJ, Penang (Golden Triangle 2 and Imperial Grande), and Johor (Medini).

Klang was not on that list. That may simply be an omission on their side - this branch has a full address and two working numbers, and the operator’s own website still carries it. We are keeping the listing up rather than remove a home that may well be open, but please call ahead before travelling, and do tell us either way.

How we determined this licensing status

JKM-registered as part of the Mintygreen Healthcare chain (operating since 2017, 7+ branches across Klang Valley + Penang). Specific JKM number not separately published. The Mintygreen group is one of the more visible premium aged-care chains in Malaysia, frequently producing top-X directory content from their own brand.

Licensing status can change — licences expire, transfer to new operators, or get renewed under a different legal entity. We cross-reference public sources to be as accurate as possible, but always ask to see the physical certificate during your tour. For JKM, ask for the Perakuan Pendaftaran Pusat Jagaan. For MOH, ask for the CKAPS approval letter.

Operators: email your certificate to hello@seniorlivingmalaysia.org and we will upgrade this listing to a Verified ✓ badge showing the certificate date. While you're at it — one line on cultural fit (halal kitchen, surau, Mandarin-speaking staff, dietary accommodations) helps the families who specifically search for that.
