The property is a converted bungalow on a tree-lined Ara Damansara residential street — the kind of address most families would assume is just a private home rather than a senior-care residence. The compact scale is the design intent: this is the Mansion that fits residents who would find a larger property overwhelming, particularly residents with moderate cognitive change for whom too many people, too much movement, and unfamiliar layouts can intensify confusion.

The full Care Concierge service tier scaled to a smaller building: 24-hour nursing under registered nurses and trained caregivers, structured assisted-living support, dementia and memory care, palliative and respite stays, OT-led activity programming and the Care Concierge family monitoring app. The clinical depth is identical to the larger Mansion houses; the activity programme is necessarily lighter on group events given the smaller resident population, but the staff-to-resident ratio is generally tighter — which is the trade-off that suits this property’s intended fit.

Ara Woods specifically attracts families whose parent is cognitively sensitive — the bungalow-house feel, low-stimulation environment, and predictable routines tend to settle dementia residents more reliably than larger institutional layouts. The property is also a fit for residents who simply prefer quiet — those who would find Sunway Sanctuary’s hospital-tower scale or the Mansion Ampang’s resort grounds wrong for their temperament.

Lorong Melor, 47400 Petaling Jaya — Ara Damansara, the western fringe of PJ. The neighbourhood is residential, tree-lined, and quieter than most of central PJ; Lorong Melor itself is a low-traffic side street. Ara Damansara Medical Centre is the closest hospital (5-10 minutes); Sunway Medical Centre and Subang Jaya Medical Centre are within 15-20 minutes via the LDP. The location is also convenient for families travelling from KLIA or staying at airport-corridor hotels — Ara Damansara LRT station is nearby, and the Subang Skypark airport (for KL-City flights from Penang or Singapore) is a short drive.
